Disability Due to Dementia or Cognitive Dysfunction

We have many clients who suffer from dementia/cognitive dysfunction. They have varying diagnoses, such as Alzheimers, Lewy Body Syndrome, and traumatic brain injury, among others. Sometimes the cognitive problems are a symptom of another disease, such as Multiple Sclerosis, or sometimes they are unexplained. Either way, it is scary for the client!
The symptoms usually start to appear as trouble concentrating, forgetfulness, or distractability. At first, it is easy to ignore and keep working, but over time it becomes more and more difficult to pay attention to your work. Once you’ve reached that point, you need a lawyer who understands that you get confused easily, a lawyer who is patient and understanding.
If you stopped work due to dementia or cognitive dysfunction, we understand what you are going through. Give us a call to see if we can help with your Social Security Disability claim. Our number is 205-879-3033. Or, email us at LifeHealth@FriedmanFirmPC.com.
