If your case is denied at the initial or reconsideration level, your next step is to appeal and request a hearing.
Over the years, Social Security has changed the name of its hearing office several times—Office of Hearings and Appeals (OHA), Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR), and now they are called Office of Hearing Operations (OHO). Although SSA seems to be rebranding, all of these refer to the same thing—the place where your hearing is held.
